California has announced recommended restrictions on the use of the pesticide Chlorpyrifos on crops. These are interim restrictions while the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) completes a regulatory process and develops permanent restrictions. Chlorpyrifos is currently used on more than 800,000 acres and more than 60 crops.
